On October 15th, 2020, Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee organized a seminar on “Digital transformation solutions to promote agricultural and rural development” with the participation of representatives of the Department of Information Technology – Ministry of Information and Communications, experts, leaders of provinces and districts, and agricultural producers. The seminar heard experts and scientists presenting the Digital Transformation Orientation for Dong Thap; Opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in agricultural restructuring and new rural construction in Dong Thap province; Build smart village; Control system of intelligent irrigation equipment; Application of drones (Drones) in agriculture; E-commerce platform for agricultural products (Agri-Connect) and Digitalization of shrimp from pond to table, through solutions to help Dong Thap promote agricultural and rural development in the coming time.
